when i was driving i suddenly hear screeching sound coming from the left side, and i have to brake to make it go away =/ its kinda loud too

 

you need to replace your brake pad. That screeching thing is there to let you know your pads have become way to thin and need replacing soon.

yep.. i've had this problem and couldn't figure out what side it was coming from so i had to check each brake and come to find out it was my rear left brake pad. That sound is freakin annoying.

OEM Honda

 

oem honda brakes are fine

 

i know this is a noob question , but where can u buy oem honda brake pad and how much is it the sound is driving me crazy

you can buy them at the dealership (which will be expensive as hell) or you can buy them at autozone or pepboys. I use the EBC greens due to the fact that i have crossed drilled slotted rotors. Got tired of my rim lookin like i just got out of a black desert.

 

haha thanks but what do u prefer EBC or hawk performance since the price is like the same and how can u tell if the sound comes from the front or the rear, i hear it from the rear and my friend say its coming from the front :S

 

i prefer the EBC as they were ranked for really good brake pads. was in a import mag don't remember which one.

 

i have hawks on mine, and i absolutly love them, great stopping power

 

i just bought akebono streeet performance brake pad, iono if its good or should i return it and get another brake pad
