Like the title says, what are the differences between them? How can you physically tell which motor is an obd0, obd1. obd2? Im totally new to hondas so i do not understand them.

ppl have told me that you can differentiate by looking at how many plugs are plugged into the ecu... Is that correct?

if so, what would a car with 3 plugs plugged in be?

i searched and found out that
92-95=obd1
96-99=obd2a
00+=obd2b

So i have a 97 ex civic, meaning its obd2a. if i wanted to swap a 1999 b16a2 into my civic, i could use the b16a2 engine harness and ecu with no wiring problems?
