Default 2002 civic si, turn signal/blinker/flasher relay?

Hey i have a 2002 civic si, 2 door, I have one problem today, when i pressed the keyless entry on my compustar remote usually the 2 front flashers flash, however only the one on the right flashed and the one on the left did not turn on. When I put on my hazards the light works fine though... or the turn signal, just not when i use my keyless now, I am wondering what could be the problem. THe blinker or flasher relay? Thanks

1. Wrong Forum

2. Prob the bulb Considering the keyless is hooked up to your parking lights and the bulbs are double filament one is for turn-signals and one is for parking lights??

He's not in the wrong forum at all.

Canadian Si = American EX.
American Si = Canadian SIR.

Are your parking lights working on both sides when you turn your lights on?

that is the car I have, its actually an EX I had it imported from New York.
Also, parking lights just level 1 on the switch, then yes, again my right turn signal turns on, but the left doesn't...

So is the light burnt out? Wiring problem? Up here in Toronto we have a store called Canadian Tire, kinda like walmart they have a garage, buddy told me it could be a wiring problem, but I dont know and I dont want to pay some mechanic 100$ to replace a light bulb for me. I really appreciate your help guys.

Thanks.

Whatever you do, do not take your car to crappy tire. They will probably attempt to tell you that your headlight fluid is low. Im from niagara falls man i know all about them. Id quickly try swapping bulbs from your right side to see if thats the problem. Could also be the relay, but check the bulbs first cause its way cheaper and easier.

oops... i didnt see were you were from.. im sorry i just seen the title saying 2002 Civic SI

I would get a wire tester and see if you are getting power to the light bulb harness to determine if its the bulb,relay,short,switch....etc

Thanks for the reply guys, so to replace the bulb, do you know if I have to take out the bumper as well? I had a 2000 civic before and I had to take off the bumper is this the case for these models?

ya pretty much lol sorry to burn you dude but ummm.. owners maual clearly states that u go thru the wheel well to change the turn signal bulb. and it would be sensless to make a car where u gotta take a bumper off to change a little itty bitty bulb. unless u dont have an owners manual which is a wamby bamby from the start. and theres online owners manuals too

ya i know lol,
i have an update, i punched the headlight and it turned back on, only temporary it went back out again now im thinking it could be a wire or lose bulb? also the parking light went out now, the light in the middle its clearly burnt, its basically black now. this is all from the same side... so now i know i have to replace 1 bulb 100% what you guys think about the turn signal/parking light now?
