Better than stock direct replacement radiator
I have an 1989 CRX Si with AC.
Im looking for a better than stock direct replacement radiator. I live in phoenix and would like something that is close overkill, but i need it to be a direct replacement.

Why not Forget about different hoses and such and just put in a direct replacement double-wide all brass radiator
$122.00 ain't that bad either.

for 88-91 Honda Civic/CRX
4 Cyl. 1.5/1.6L M/T & A/T Hatchback DX/SI & Sedan/Coupe (DX/LX/EX)
This radiator has rugged, all metal construction(brass and copper with a black finish), not plastic tanks like the factory OEM radiator.
The radiator core is twice as thick as the factory radiator, (1 5/16 instead of 11/16), providing twice the cooling capacity.
This radiator also has twice the number of cooling tube rows as the factory radiator, (2 instead of 1), providing twice the flow.
Although this radiator does not have the maximum cooling capacity of the All-Aluminum Radiators, it is an excellant choice for hard driving, high heat conditions.
This is a direct replacement radiator, no modifications required.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I will admit, squeezing the A/C fan in there along with headers was a very tight fit, it did fit and was one of the best options for me to keep the A/C, A/C fan, headers, and supercharger.

In your writeup it says you don't know why the guy in the other writeup needed new radiator brackets. He needed new brackets because he had an HF 3/4 size radiator. Being shorter it uses a different mount on the driver's side.
