what are the basic steps to build a B20 vtec i have a siR b16 if i want to make a b20 Vtec out of that what would i need to do? i know that i have to get the b20 block wat else would i need to get and do? help please

 

do a search
get the golden eagle LS/B20vtec conversion kit along wit ARP head studs
99 GSR water pump
99 GSR Timming belt
and TUNE TUNE TUNE! and dont rev to 9k

 

you need a lot i built mine look in my build thread and it is a long process dont take past 9k and their is a lot of tuning that you need if you not capible of tuning your self be side dyno tune then i wouldent build it and if its going to be a daily driver i wouldent either cause to many things can go wrong it a nice engine and pretty quick if you tune them right and build it rright if you are going to build one i would convert to obd1 and get a chipped p28 ecu built for what ever your going to do with it n/a boost etc but i would highly sugest getting the block resleeved cause b20 sleeves are junk they will break real easy
