Default Looking for the best possible most potential swap for 12,000$ Post ideas. (K series)

Crazy or not that is not the topic so please dont tell me Im stupid lol, I've been told that in the past, but cars is my hobby so yes I will spend money on them.

I will have around 12,000 Dollars Canadian to spend on a swap into my EJ6. (Equalling around 10,900 USD)
Im mainly interested in the K series engine, and am wondering what the best possible setup for that amount of money can be, Give or take 1000 dollars if needed I guess.

Thanks.
Originally I was thinking, K24 Built botom, K20 Head, CTR 6 speed tranny, would my budget be enough for that, Is that a good setup? Any other ideas? Thanks

the ctr tranny is a b tranny. Unless your talking about the UKDM civic type-r that's a 7th gen.

a k24 bottom end and a k20a head will get you what you're asking for.

You know, we see this **** all the time. It's pretty easy to see that K swaps are the easy solution for going fast. What are you asking?

To be honest with you though, I bet an h22 on 10-15 lbs would eat a k20a2 for breakfast.

not sure what the question is but that build sounds good. i think the tranny your looking for is the rsx type s or dc5. but sounds like fun. you going all motor or are you boosting it?

IMO, build a b18c1 for boost and buy a decent turbo kit and tune, tune, tune and you'll eat k swapped hatches all day. Maybe have some money left to buy some wheels.

I would personally build a b-series and get a nice turbo kit.

Yeah... Im with the whole build a B series or go H2B with some boost. K is nice, but why spend that much on a swap... thats a down on a car, G35 FTW. Anyhow, you could do a H2B swap for around 4k and still put another 4k into a turbo set up and build the motor.
