Special size bolts for my garrett turbo?
hey guys, i bought my turbo second hand and it didnt come with the bolts to hold the dp flange on, the oil lines, and the intake flange(t3 super 60). i went to the hardware store yesterday and nothing fits. does garrett use different thread pitches so i have to order through them? if so does anyone know where i can contact them? thanks

U should be able to get them all at a hardware store, I did.
Did you check on Standard AND Metric sizes?
I remember my 4 bolt exhaust turbo, had 8X1.25mm bolts for the downpipe cause I used several OEM bolts I had laying around that hold the clutch to the flywheel.
Most Garrett turbo's are metric as they are made overseas.

yea i figured they were metric, i did try standard as well though. it just seemed like eveything became too tight to soon. im kinda nervous to damage the threads, so maybe ill go try again. i though there could be a little dirt in there that would make it rough, does anyone have a suggestion on how to clean up the threads without ruining them?

smoking pipe cleaners (small bendable things in the smoking section)
small wire brush
tap & die set.
all should be good at cleaning up threads.

i'll have to give those a try cause the metric ones jump straight from 16 - 20 mm in length and i need like a 18. my downpipe flange isn't thick enough and the screw is a little to long or to short. Maybe some washers will work.
