my friend is selling me his 17 inch wheels off his accord becuase his car got totaled. my car is dropped i think 1.8. i bought the car dropped. will it fit? any rubbing? another friend told me to get 16 so it wont be that bad. any suggestions?

 

what year car, model, trim do u have ?

what size tire and bolt pattern are the accord wheels ?

if u have a 00 and below civic/ integra then i agree w/ yer fren.. 17 " may be a lil bit too big.

 

i have a 92 honda civic hatc cx. i think the tires are 205/45/17. i dont know the bolt patter...its a 4 lug >.<.

 

The tires are too big and will rub.

I wouldn't get 17" wheels for a '92 Civic. The problem is that even 205/40-17, the smallest 17" size commonly available, is too big for your car. Stick with 16" (with 205/40-16 tires) or 15" (with 195/50-15 tires).

 

koo koo. you have any good recomdations on 16 rims and tires? only reason i wanted them cuz they were bronze hhehehe

 

You can get the Kumho SPT in 205/40-16.
