Default what tires for the summer?

since its almost summer.. and i will be needing to replace my front tire.. i was wondering if there was a better tire to use during summer time.. and if it doesnt matter.. then which tire would you recommend for going up and down the canyon?

I've ridden on about 11 different tires among four different brands...

out of all those, for the street I would go with 120/180 pilot power sports.

warmed up quicker, had quicker turn in, better stability, and prediction than all the other street tires i rode on.

and by comparison, the regular michelin pilot sports are the worst tires out of all the tires i've ridden on.

Modern rubber is a beautiful thing. Get something that gets good mileage since you're new.

yeah big time. dont mis match tires ... especially if the front is worse than the rear... thats the worser of the two worses! you can get a set of powers for like $220 or something..

just shows preference after riding on good tires, riding on the pilot sports felt like i was sliding on ice. i had no confidence in my bike!

powers instill confidence in your riding.

My bike has pilot powers on it now, but I'll need new ones in the next month or so, have you ridden PPs and if so how do you feel they compare to the Diablos as I was thinking about maybe getting some of those...
