Hello. I have a b18c Del sol and I'm looking for a CAI. If I find one for a Del Sol vtec (b16) will it work? Or do I need one of those hybrid intakes?

Tried searching but no luck.

del sols have a d16 stock. i would try to find one for that, i think there cheaper anyway (don't quote me on that).

A hybrid intake will definitely work, but if it's an intake for the del Sol VTEC it should work properly.

I believe the Del Sol Si VTEC Came with a B16.

I know if I had a nickle for each one I'd be a honda-tech Member.

 

Wouldn't that basically be considered a SRI?

It's a short ram for sure, it just makes a cool noise for an intake.

i know that electric supercharger sound funny but never heard "whale ***** intake...sounding funny"

All aftermarket intakes are usually more audible than factory intakes.

The whale ***** type is loud and deep i guess. Kinda roaring.

Where as a CAI is high pitched and "sucking".

I don't know, it's hard to describe. But they're all definately audible.
