?
it maybe more but some people will pay more for a stock car.
Everytime I buy a car if there is a cheaper one but has aftermarket parts I will pay more for the unmodified one.
I see you are in des plains IL. I'm from around here and there are not many ep's for sale in this area. I had to go to st louis to get one I liked.
holly hell I haven't looked at ep's for sale around our area since I bought mine a year ago and expletive the prices are outragious. an 02 with 62k with rims is listed for 12600 and that was about the median price. I guess I feel lucky I spent 11k for 52k miles..... Your best bet might be to travel a little in order to find a better deal where they are not going for so much if you want to save money.
here is a cheap local 1

Two thoughts: First, the prices for good used EP3s continue to rise, not fall. There are a lot of reasons for this, but principally you can thank the current Si buyers -- their enthusiam for the current model has resulted in a "halo" of sort around Si's generally, even this one which was unloved when it was the only one available.
The second reason these cars are doing well now is related to the first. These cars sold at a whopping discount when they were new, often many thousands under MSRP. It simply wasn't what the enthusiast market wanted. Now, however, EP3s are selling to people who "only" want a "good" Honda -- i.e., a reliable, tough, well-engineered car, and the '02-05s fit that bill.
As for the one you are looking at, it's a cliche in the used car biz that two things affect price: the shine and the odometer. In other words, a clean (and undamaged) low-mileage clean car will always bring a premium price.
