transmission trouble
my 96 hatch has jdmb16a swap. Upon coming home from wrk it was really hard to put into gear eveything is moved over to the right i cant get into reverse, although i can get into 1st through 5th im not sure what to do.A mechanic friend told me, it might be my planetary gear?? im not too sure. Im almost postive that im screwd and need a new trans, will any bseries trans fit or should i try to rebuild. Im trying to do this on budget but i know a good trans worth buying will cost a nice amount.
Any postive input will b greatly appreciated. i did do a search and couldnt really find anything here

hmmm...any b-series tranny will work. as far as rebiulding or replacing? it's up to you. which will be cheaper? b-series trannies are hard to come by. also, it's hard to tell if the tranny was stolen or not.

before you get rash and swap tranny's try the inexpensive fixes.
Bleed your clutch and put new fluid in. Often times ancient fuild or clutch lines with air in them tend to lock up the hydrolic cylinders.
Air/contaminants + Hydrolics = Hydrolics going "WTF y0?"
