Default Advice needed

I'm not sure how to go about my block resleeving. My machine shop said they can supply iron liners for about £30 a piece but i dont know what quality they will be although i'm pretty sure they will do for my build.

Or i can get a set of darton sleeves shipped over for about £170 and have my machine shop fit them although they've never used darton sleeves before and dont know wether to trust them with it or not.

I know this is a hard question but what would you do in my position? any input is greatly appreciated

The highest quality sleeves with a **** install are just ****. The difference between the ones they supply and getting the Dartons shipped over is about £50, roughly $100. For the extra $100, i would get the Darton sleeves, and talk to the machine shop and get sort of warranty for the machine work.

Thanks for the quick reply. If they cant give any kind of warranty would you not bother with it?

I've only got a choice of 2 machine shops around here and neither of them have done much performance stuff.

Contact Neil Brown Engineering in the UK. He did the Honda touring cars and F3 motors, is a nice guy and will help you.
