2nd gear grind on d16z6 after clutch/fly/LSD install
I found some info on this on d-series.org but cannot log in anymore to repond to threads.
It is pretty much narrowed to the counter shaft bearing backing out and making contact with the ring gear. Fluid, motor mounts, shift bushings are all new and in good shape. The grind only happens on redline shifts into 2nd, all other gears are fine. It did not do this at all before my clutch, flywheel, and quaife were installed.
So my main question here is.....could the CSB backed during the install???
Any help is appreciated.
