The b18/b20 headgaskets dont have a hole for the vtec feed. Just get either a cometic 84mm or a GE oem 84mm.

I like the cometic because you can get the bore in differnet sizes. Saves you time from having to trim it manually. Also the cometics are pretty much made the same as the oem ones. they stopped making the fire-ring haskets.

Depends on the head/deck surface. I get mine surfaced to almost a mirror shine so no need to use any type of spray.

Yep they stopped making the HP gaskets WHICH is FINE since they were a MARKETING GIMMICK ONLY, this was told to me by a Cometic Rep in GA NOPI event last year.

Cometic gaskets work great though, different bore sizes and different thicknesses as well as LS/VTEC specific gaskets also. OEM is great also. I recommend OEM if you have an OEM bore or .5mm over, if you are doing LS or LS/VTEC you can run an OEM B20 Gasket also. Some people don't like to use the GE gaskets for LS/VTEC as they are overbored VTEC gaskets

Either will work fine for you. To the OP you need to determine WHY you blew a headgasket and fix that problem BEFORE swapping it and having another blown gasket whether it be OEM or Cometic.

well yea that would be good to find out as well do you have any opinions as to why this happened?my coolant pressure shot up when the motor revs but there is no coolant in the oil and compression and leak downs were good so i am replacing the head gasket and radiator cap, i already know i am going to straight edge my head to see if it was warped, but the tuner said that it was prob cuz i never retorked the arp studs so i am thinking that, and also i am unclear on a few hot passes were on the studs??

I've never retorqued my arp's, they held up tonight just dandy on 35 lbs of boost tonight so I'd look to other problems.
