Default B18 and tranny into 99 DX sedan

hey i need some help on deciding something... i have a 99 dx sedan with almost 206K miles and would very much like to keep the car. I am thinking about swaping the y7 out and putting in an obd2 B18 with vtec. heres the problem... the tranny in my car is the stock y7 auto, and i have been trying to research whether or not i can replace the y7 auto and put in the B18 with an Integra auto tranny, reason being i dont want to have to deal with the BS of swaping to a manual and having to install a clutch, master cylinder, cutting out for a different tranny mount... i would rather just stick with auto for now. but will an auto Integra tranny fit into a civic without too much difficulty? any advice will help. thanks!

It depends what B18 ur talking about.

If ur talking about the ITR I don't think they made automatic ITRs (B18C5). Though the trannies are interchangeable so you can throw a B16 trans on there (which is pretty the same 'cept for the final drive) - pretty sure those came in auto.

Yeah, it'll fit in there w/o much difficulty, regardless of what it is (GSR, LS/V, ITR) - w/ the auto tranny and all. Though I'd recommend going w/ a manual, it's really not as much work as you seem to be under the impression of. My friend and myself did a GSR swap and auto > man conversion in in less than 1 day - and I'm not a wizard under the hood or nething.

where would be the best place to look for an Integra motor and auto tranny? i dont want to go with ebay anymore, i got screwed the last 2 times i bought something off there. also i'm looking to save some green so anywhere that has them with decent mileage and decent price would be great, but any suggestions are good. oh and another question... i do this swap, both a B18C and auto tranny... does that mean a new wiring harness as well or can i mod my old harness... OBDII by the way...
