should be on a white sticker right in plain view....if its still there

 

If I remember correctly the Honda sedans often have the stickers down lower than the Honda two doors.

Also if it's a respray I bet the owner knows it's not the original paint and the sticker code would be wrong.

A lot of re-painted cars (especially cheap econoboxes) don't have painted door jams/engine bay. It's a good bit more money.

Besides, I doubt it's repainted just from the op's text.
