My buddy from work has a 97 accord. The EGR Valve CEL keeps coming on. He replaced the egr valve once and it went away for a while. Now it keeps coming back on. Any ideas?

ummm clean the EGR ports yet? may be clogged.

can you provide more detail? I don't know a whole lot about accords... like where are they located...

If you loook at the Accord FAQ, you'll find a guide. Just to give a quick description, it is under the fuel rail. There is a plate. Unbolt those plates and clean out the EGR ports. They do get dirty.
