hard cold starting problem......
ok i had a y8 motor with RC 440's tuned with hondata, ran perfect.
i ended up blowing the headgasket and warping the block and head,
i had a y7 motor laying around so i dropped that in,
my problem is that when i try to start it when its cold it will just crank
and wont turn over, also it just floods the motor an you can smell the
gas, after a while it will turn over only if i hold down the throttle.
when its running the a/f guage is in the rich range
i'll drive the car around and its fine boost is good too, my only problem is when
i try to start it cold, and sometimes when its warm i'll shut it off and restart it
it wont start unless i hold down the throttle.....i checked for everything, any ideas????
