Power Antenna problem after new HU installed.
I picked up a alpine cdm 7854 and installed it for my 94 Integra. I notice though after playing it that whenever I switch to Radio, the power antenna goes up. But when I switch back to CD, the power antenna goes down. This is really annoying because switching from CD to radio is something that is done a lot of times everyday by everyone. I never had this problem on the other decks I used to own.
Did I installed it wrong or what happen here? ( I used a sorche harness and kit from the goodguys for the install) It has never happen before on the other decks I used. It's really annoying whenever I switch from radio to CD. It goes up, then down according to what I am using. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I also notice that the alpine deck's harness had a blue/white wire which the harness I bought for easy installed did not have. Is this wire necessary? The deck plays fine but just the antenna problem is annoying the **** out of me.

Thats normal when I had my alpine deck as well. You can have an expirienced audio tech to wire it to stay up all the time.
Or you can also get the S2K antenna conversion and not worry about that

yeah its normal.. it did that for my different Alpine units that I've had.. the TDA-7554, CDA-7949 and CDA 7969... cdm? or cda-7894? anyways nice deck ...it figures since your using CD you dont need the antenna up.. so it retracts it.. anyway you can add a switch inline so that it doesnt go up unless you really need the radio (and flick the switch) I guess.. I pretty much never listen to the radio since the station in SO Cal aren't all that good.. lots of commercials, and the DJ's talk a lot Lolz.. I usually listen to CD's 99% of the time.. you can also get an S2k antenna like a lot of people do.. I have an amplified antenna so I don't have to worry about the antenna going up and down (its stuck anyways haha)..
the blue/white wire is your remote turn on for amps I believe... I installed my deck about 2 yrs ago.. so this is from memory but I'm pretty sure the blue/white is remote turn on..
