I really have been wondering if I got this thing installed correctly. From what I have seen on HT.com, nobody else installed it the way mine has. But I could swear that it was installed exactly the way the included instructions mentions. Could it be that my car is RHD? But I really do not think it has anything to do with it. Would some guru/experts tell me I did it wrong and may be show me your installation instructions??? Thanx a lot in advance!!

Your picture looks like the zip tie is connected to the damper.

 

Scroll to the side view picture, you can see that the zip tie is holding the throttle cable

I take it you saw it somewhere and read about it on the forums, then decided to buy one to fit in. Received it from the mail, then attempted to install it while having no ******* idea what you're doing, ultimately making yourself look retarded. Right?

Hey..Don't Be Hating!! I didn't mean to be dumb or blind stupid. It's a simple and honest question...Geezz!! I thought it was wrong too, that's why I ask. I told y'all, I saw a few other cars here installed it like this. The instructions included was like that too. And I could see that it works, the engine doesn't move back & forth like before the damper was installed. If you think I got it in wrong and you DO HAVE ONE INSTALLED, then I'm asking for your help and NOT YOUR INSULT, okay?

And for the zip tie, like some of you do notice, it's to hold the throttle cable for the reason other than cosmetic. It's just to keep the cable attached to something rather than let it loose at that point. If you just look around the entire engine bay, maybe it's just one thing not so pretty. Try notice the rest, but then again, I think I'm satisfied with the zip tie, who cares?

Again, if you have one installed please advise, thrash me later after I fixed it.

Here is the pic I found from somewhere, it shows the damper is installed next to the engine but didn't show the whole picture..
