Ditch The Megan header get some RMF-or Smsp-or AN-r.com
Aggressive cams, High compression Pistons, Hondata or Crome Extra tuning

And for Circut You got to get a pro Suspension

crower makes excellent cams stage 1-3 i know you won't need a stage 3 that's kinda crazy but a stage 2 should open up about 15 hp (correct me if i'm wrong) those will run you around $400 shipped if you look around

you'll have to choose the comp of the pistons you want... srp makes good pistons... je makes excellent pistons as well i believe you can get je pistons with eagle rods for about $800 shipped they are availible in 8.0, 9.0, 9.8, 10.7, 11.5, 12.2 compressions

a port and polish would be nice... some valve work also

again correct me if i'm wrong on any of this guys

How many do you have? Get a few more, the power goes up exponentially.

When you say circuit racing. Do you mean you want to compete in Honda-Challenge. If so look at the rule book first.

INTAKE:
better CAI (a 3" one)
larger bore TB(I'd say 65mm is good)
IM (the edelbrocks are good, but if you can find one the cnc ported ITRs are better)
-portmatch everything

HEAD:
-cams, I'm assuming that you're wanting to go out on a road coarse like button willow or willow springs, in that case the cam with an excellent overall curve is the Buddy club spec III+
-valvetrain of course(go with flat vlave for a little more compresion)
-PORT/POLISH WORK
-ARP hardware(just to be safe

EXHAUST:
-as already said, ditch that cheap *** HEADER (not plural!) and get a good one (like rage smap, hytech, profab, etc.)
-also get a good custom 2.5" madrel exhaust

BLOCK:
-first off I'd stay away from CTR pistons, there are problems with them because of such a peaky dome. If you want to stay with an OEM piston go with the ITR
-Balance and BP everything
-ARP hardware

TRANNY
-Higher final drive
-LSD
-better clutch
-lighter flywheel

that's about it to get the most out of you're motor without going too crazy(like a big bore/stroker kit). I didn't list them but if you can find them relatively cheap I'd get a B17 crank and rods(the slightly longer stroke is supposedly good for about 5-7whp and 4-5ft/lbs all the way through the powerband)

as for cost, that depends purely on the parts you buy, the labor you can do yourself(if any) and the severity of the machine work I'd say for all that listed above expect to spend at least 3K

the only thing i woudl suggest if you want to use the ctr pistons is to clay the motor to check your clearance.

that really depends on how much money ou can drop in the build, a setup like I mentioned would probally get around 190-205whp

if you go with a bigger bore, higher comp. piston as well as a longer stroke and aggressive cam and you' be looking at 230+whp...just go through the "all motor" forum search, and you should be able to get some kind of idea on what is realistic...if you plkan on shooting for something ridiculous like 300whp on stock bore and spending under 4000, you might as well forget it and go turbo
