scratched after a debadge

Default scratched after a debadge

hey i was debadging my car and i started using the rough side of a sponge to get the glue off and it start making really small scratches on the back. now everything around where LX used to be is scratched. Is there anyway to sand and polish/wax and make these scratches go away????

my friend told me he did that when he removed his altima badges. i know it was stupid i was wondering how to polish out the scratches or if it was possible to.
