Default Window Sanding?

Hey guys dose anyone know what grit paper to use to wet sand the windows on the car to remove water blotches and to polish them real nice? I seen some people do it and i never had the opp to ask what is the process. let me know thanks!

Use very fine steel wool instead, and be careful with it. Even doing that will leave little scratches. I have had good luck using a small dab of megs m205 (which is a buffing compound) on a soft microfiber rag, followed by wax.

the steel wool, what would i use it with? like what liquid? and if i was to do the megs, how do i prep the glass first, do i clean it with windex first then start or do i just start with the dab and the microfiber?

Try megs first. Clean with windex, very thoroughly, then start. Having contaminants can leave more micro scratches on the surface. Some companies also make a glass polish, keep an eye out. Depending on the scratch or blemish, they could be used by hand (but most require a buffer.)
