d series vtec questions

I have a d16a6 bottom end from a 1990 civic si. I want to put a soch vtec head on the block alond with new pistons and rings. what are my best options? I would like to be left with highter compression. maybe with zc pistons?(pm7???)

how about you search because the topic of "mini-me"(clue..) engines have been covered extensivley.
