Default Final Drive of 99-00 civic misconception

Ok, maybe this has been posted before or I'm just late, but why does everyone say that the 99-00 B16A2 transmission have a 4.40 final drive ratio when in fact it's a 4.266. I see everyone wanting to buy a that year transmission for the 4.40 final drive. Hopefully no one got a bad deal. Someone school me if I'm wrong. Oh by the way I got this information straight from the Helms manual and the Hondata S300.

You are. The EM1 has the same ratios and final drive as the USDM ITR, just minus the LSD.
