Ok, maybe this has been posted before or I'm just late, but why does everyone say that the 99-00 B16A2 transmission have a 4.40 final drive ratio when in fact it's a 4.266. I see everyone wanting to buy a that year transmission for the 4.40 final drive. Hopefully no one got a bad deal. Someone school me if I'm wrong. Oh by the way I got this information straight from the Helms manual and the Hondata S300.

as far as i know it is 4.4? i do know that the fd and gear ratios are the same as the older type r's and they have a 4.4 fd.

it is a 4.4 with as low wtq as 105 or what ever it is, it need the short final drive to compensate for the b/s wtq

however it is infact the d16 vtech that have the LOngggg 4.25 final drive (which can be changed out thank GOD!) and the LS trans that have the B/S 4.26 final drive which making waiting for the car to accelerate is like waiting for paint to dry!
