What type of mods you want to do?
If you only have 175 miles, I would wait till you complete the break-in before you start any engine mods.
You can start with some suspension mods, but keep in mind, anything you do can and will have an impact to your warranty.
I suggest you start with:
Progress Rear Sway bar
Compect Short Shifter (if you can still get one)
HFP Suspension
New tires - The stock all season suck big time, and the summer tires hydroplane really bad on the wet roads.
Engine wise, start with:
CAI - You live is San Jose, so you can use a full CAI since it is pretty dry around here. There are also several Short Ram systems available too.
Exhaust system - I have the Greddy Evo II that I like alot. But there are several out there. Since your in San Jose, I would stay away from the louder Skunk exhaust systems, since San Jose Police love to hassle people for loud exhaust and tinted front windows.
Hondata Reflash - Only if your not going FI. If your thinking about forced induction, all the forced induction kits have their own reflash. In addition, if your thinking force induction, do your homework. Currently, fuel tuning is a big issue with this motor.
If you are looking for a mechanic, I HIGHLY recommend Dynospot racing. These guys have done ALL the work on my car and I have not had a single mechanical problem. No CEL's, no exhaust leaks, no stalls, nothing. These guys really know what they are doing and they are fair on price. In addition, the guys at Dynospot can guide you on mods in regards to quality, what mod and when, how they will impact the engine and whether it is a smart move or not. They are very good at advising you on the impact to enigne reliability with regards to mods. If they do not think you are making a smart decision on a mod, they will tell you instead of just installing it, and letting you find out for yourself.
Good luck
