Default oil leak in spark plug well #1 , what are consequences?

so i did my red b-series valve cover change and apparently forgot to make sure that all the orings are in place for the spark plugs. So now i have oil in my spark well #1, what are the consequences of not changing it?

I have noticed it to be more sluggish? should i still drive it around or wait till i replace my grommets first?

TIA

and the oil soaking on the plug wires will ruin the wires

Short out the wire and cause it to misfire or worse.

hence dont drive it and just fix it ... otherwise you will just cause more issues for yourself

replaced. but i ended up chipping the corner of my valve cover

hope it doesn't leak. also removing the oil from the spark plug well was very difficult. any problems if a little oil leaked into the spark plug / chamber?

Sorry to hear man. I checked on my plugs yesterday and found oil in 3 of my chambers so I guess it's time for a new gasket and a set of wires.
