Default lagging problem

previously, with my old radiator, the fan didnt work so after sitting for a while the car would over heat and while a lil too hot the car would drive really slow until it got back down to normal temp. i figured this was a ragulation in the ecu to hold the motor back from beating itself up while it was running too hot, but i went and bought a new radiator, and just got the fan working on it, so now when sitting the car never over heats but from time to time, itll lag as it used to when it would over heat. everything works best after i have shut the car off for about 5 mins then go and drive it but after that, it stops ripping as hard as it did right after sitting, but here and there itll work just as fast again and not lag, maybe this is from driving alot at high speeds it cools down enough to pull hard? shouldnt it always pull hard with everything new (radiator, fan, and thermostat) now that it doesnt over heat, what could be causing this problem?

When I was driving in the car with Dylan it occured to me that his Clutch might be slipping. I know when I ride dirtbikes and when my clutch is slipping, I'll give it gas and it will catch fine, but when I hit the gas hard it will slip. Thats exactly what is happening with Dylans car. When his car is cold, it will catch fine, but when the car warms up it slips. It will catch fine going from 0-10 then when he gas's it and hits vtec, it slips. So I was assuming it was his clutch is starting to slip. Goodluck Dylan!
