Default p28 with b16?

i got a obd0 b16 i converted to obd1, engine has no knock sensor being obd0. can i run the stock p28 ecu from my d16z6 untill i get it chipped without hurting this engine? or should i run the other ecu i have its a p61 and just deal with the knock sensor CEL until i get the p28 chipped with b16 basemap.

and anything i should add to the b16 map with crome.. like when should vtec engage rev limit and misc stuff like that..

also i was messing with crome and want to put the FTL(full throttle launch) on there, what would be a good rpm to start with. i was thinking around 3k and vtec engagement around 4500 to 5000

What do you consider hurting the engine? If you think running the wrong kind of map for the engine which can result as either lean or richer then normal use would be hurting the engine then yes your hurting the engine. If you dont think thats a problem then have at it.

If your on slicks just rev off the rev limiter and go. Drag radials i would put it at 6k.
