how do you get rid of the tapping sound from motor??
i think my valves are tappin and if they are is it covered by warrenty?? the 100k warrenty if not covered how dou fix that sound from ur motor that tappin sound
I don't think its covered under warranty. Yes the dealer can do it, but I'd be very wary to take it to the dealership to so something so intricate. The process is not hard at all, but it takes time and is a tedious process.
If you search the forums, there are plenty of step by step how to's to do your own valve adjustment.

i would not suggest someone to do it on their own for the first time, its something that a lil expertise comes into play.....

no, the valvetrain isn't as noisy. exhuast valves tend to get tight, just like other honda's.

I was having the same exact problem, took the car to the dealership had the valve's adjusted runs and sounds perfect. I asked the dealer if this could be a warrenty issue but they told me it was considered normal maintenance. Its not very expensive to have done was $150 and my dealer tends to try to rip me off.
