Default 304 SUS vs. 409 SUS? Pros and cons?

Rsr exmag gt-2 exhaust system comes in both these materials. what are the pros and cons of them?

If i remember correctly 409 has better heat control than 309, as in less likely to crack under high heat stress due to its higher carbon content, but the down side of it, it can " rust "

409 for function
polished 304 for bling

409 for cost savings (about 1/3 of 304)
