Alright, so i've been in process of tuning my car for a couple weeks now..everytime I put it on the dyno something messes up. So everything seemed good, started making some pulls and cleaning things up. at like 7k-8k it kicks the CEL on(code 7, TPS). I thought it was a fluke or something so I turned the key off and back on and it was off, then made another pull and it did it at the same spot. This cycle continued three more times. Time was tight so I pulled it off the dyno and headed home. Today I get a voltmeter out to calibrate the TPS and its in spec? closed was at .41 and WOT was at 4.6 volts. So I was like..hmm. Take it around the block, hit WOT a couple times up to redline(set at like 8700) and no CEL? I didn't TOUCH the car since it was on the dyno aside from checking the voltage, didn't adjust the TPS at all. Cars set up is as followed..
b16b
2 layer head gasket(11.1:1)
BC4 cams, peak gears, RM springs and retainers
Peak Performance intake manifold gasket
F1spec header, 2.5" exhaust
3" intake with velocity stack
65mm JG edelbrock throttle body
The throttle body came with all sensors on it, they look brand new(bought TB off someone, but it appeared to be new when I put it on). Car is running a socketed p06 tuning with crome(TPS code kicks on when crome shows the TPS running at 112%. Its fine and as you get around 5kish it starts rising and right at 7kish it holds at like 110 then starts going up again and the code is thrown at 112%) I just want to make sure next time I put my car onto the dyno that I can finish getting it tuned without running into more problems. Anyone have any ideas?
