need help locating speed sensor
i have a 1995 civic hatch dx, 5 spd. and i need to change the speed sensor.. can anyone tell me where it is located? and preferrably with pictures cause im not that mechanically inclined... thanks
follow the axle from the passengerside. it goes into the transmission. on the top of where it goes in there is a sensor with 3 wires.

It's on top of the tranny in front of the firewall, i could easily point to it if I was standing on the passenger side of your car with the hood open.
Just look for a plug going into your tranny. You should be able to see it and remove it with just the hood open. No need to jack up the car. From what I can remember, I think it is next to the tranny dipstick...not sure.
