Injen CAI installation ????

Default Injen CAI installation ????

I was looking thou the instructions for my new injen CAI, and i noticed that it says ill have to cut some of my wheel well cover. I really dont want to cut it up am sure u guys have ways around this, so plz let me know how u guys went about bypassing this little problem. Thanks in advance

Some people cut, some people don't.

I personally cut mine and it really doesn't bother me that much, its just plastic.

as jonebone said....its just preference

i left mine alone, by removing driver-side front wheel and removing the wheel-well. once you get the CAI in place...just snap the wheel-well back on..everything should go back on flush except for a little bulge where the CAI tubing is.

If you have to ask this question, I recommend doing it without cutting -- it will bug you.

If you do that, you have to wrap it with foam or something (as per TypeX) just to be sure it doesn't rub too hard against the wheelwell.
