I have a code 1259 vtec malfunction. I checked the screen on the solonoid and also reseting the code but keeps coming back. It doesnt always do it so maybe it snot an electrical issue. If anyone can help please respond

 

Have you considered replacing that part, or even just electrically testing it?

 

Check your OIL level...

Word...I threw the code 3 times and I check my oil. I'm afraid to say how dangerously low I was for fear of getting slammed. Hasn't come back since.

 

easiest fix in the world. CHANGE Your oil.

 

I did I changesd the oil and still comes up. I reset the ecu and come back after about 10 minutes. I also checked the screen in the vtec solonoid. Vtec works sometimes and sometimes cuts out. Not sure what to do next
