My autocross CRX b18c build. Pics!
This is my crx I started a little while ago. This is already my second GSR motor and third transmission. The car is not yet finished, I plan on painting the interior, under hood and exterior.
This is how it started:

The first build finished:

The aftermath of the valve letting go:

The New and improved bulid:

As it sits right now:

The exterior:

The car still needs quite a bit of work. The wire tuck is not yet finished and i plan on going with a light gray inside and under the hood, I'm not really concerned with the exterior paint. I also have a block in the machine shop having 85mm sleeves put in for the build.
I plan to autocross and do some track events with this car. Im NOT going for all out power. My main focus was the suspension. I have a complete gsr suspension all the way around with brakes. I have tokico shocks and ground control coils on the car at the moment along with a custom swaybar set-up made for the jdm swaybar. I also did the complete polyurethane kit on the entire suspension. The car practically drives like a gokart.
I have a fuel cell and pump on the way and when I recieve them I plan to finish tuning the car. As far as the tuning goes, my father and I are tuning the car ourselves using a Hondata S300. This hondata is new to me so it might take me a while to familiarize myself.
The Bulid:
Head:
Gsr head
port and polish and port matched
skunk2 pro manifold
edelbrock throttle body
Supertech high comp. valves
Skunk2 valvetrain
skunk2 pro 2 cams
rc 270cc (a bit small)

J's racing intake
Block:
GSR stock bore
Supertech pistons 12.3:1
Eagle H-beam rods
Ctr pulley
Moroso oil plan
Trans:
Ys1 with lsd
exedy clutch
evolution industries clutch
Gsr axles

Nice... Can't wait to see some action pics.
I'm in the process of setting my car up for hpde/autox. Hopefully have it all up to my standards by next spring. Pulling my gsr out of my integra to go into my hatch.

what kind of power are you putting down?
if its an autocross car, i suggest a different intake... like a skinnier AEM or something of the sort. you'll get better throttle response for sure.

nice build man. real close to what i am doing. i live in florida also and i plan on doing autox/ road race events. we should hang out some time. i should have my car close to done by the beginning of next year. my suspension is decent i just need to get poly bushings all around and i am set. other than that just need to finish my motor so i can swap it in. nice build again. dont change the color, that is the hottest color made for the crx!!
Great pictures! You really need to cover those cam gears... I've known a few people that have shredded their belts and destroyed their heads because a rock flew up and landed in their gears.
Nice set up. What kind of Tokikos do you have and how are they working out for you? And how are the ground control coils workin out? What are the spring rates that you chose to go with? Im about to buy some ground control coils in the near future so I would love to hear some experience.
