hey wussup luders on Honda-tech...maybe u can help me out here....My friend has a 92 Honda Prelude Si which started to give out smoke...but the thing is that its on and off...we found some wetness near the distributor...its oil...thats causing the smoke...but where can the leak be at thats causing the oil to come and smoke up. we changed the valve cover gasket already...what else can it be...cause its on the distributor side (no where else beside there)...is it a seal or something that has to connect with the distributor or something...please need help asap if can...thanks in advance...oh i got another question....his engine start up perfectly when u first started ...it idles at the right place...but when he shuts it off and go to like a store or something and come back and start it up again..the idle drop to the point where its about to shut off but it dont and stay like that until u drive it for a while...then it goes back to normal....change IAC valve already...brand new....i was thinking can the fuel filter have something to do with it...he uses the cheapest gas...haha...please help on this one too...tryin to get his idle to stay at one place everytime he starts up...also today...when that happen he put his car on neutral and reved it and it shut off...thats a first...but im guessing it because since the rpm was low and he rev it ...it jus drop down and shut off...please any help with this...and the other question...thanks in advance

 

the oil could be coming from the distributor o-ring that sits on the shaft...or it could be from the cam seal that plugs the end of the other cam
