Default Need a good air filter for my Turbo- Apex? HKS megaflow? K&N? Which is best?

I was looking at the HKS megaflow mushroom- but it is foam- is that a good choice or is it too restrictive? Apex Looks like a good style(dry not oil based), but is dry better($$$!) The Last K&N filter I had on there was a 3" conical tappered style one taken off of my AEM CAI, but the thing looks destroyed after a short period- kind of collapsed. So I need something new- but I am not sure what to get. I like the rigidity of the HKS, but that is also very $$$- any suggestions? Need one with a 3" inlet hole, and one that is long and skinny.

A'PEXi flows the best, and filters the best.
The only downside is you have to make a mounting flange, unless you wanna pay for one.
