my friend has a civic 1.5 and he was looking to do a mini me swap, i have the 1.6 vtec head that i'm giving to him but he wanna know if his camshaft which is stage 1 will fit the 1.6 vtec head? and if is worth it doing that

 

Yes it will fit, but no its not worth doing if its going to be the only mod and with no tune.

 

Correct me if I am wrong but the d15 is non vtec how is that cam going to work with a vtec valve train?

 

non-vtec camshafts do not go into vtec motors

I thought I had read some where that there IS a difference between d15 cranks and d16. Cross reference the part number from Napa, Autozone, anything like that
