that sound you're hearing is called piston slap, its not your bearings i dont think dude

look up piston slap, it sounds more like what is happening. the oil light makes me wonder a bit, but its still worth looking into

as long as it goes away, then whats the probleme.

If u have the engine warm, then shut it off and start it again, does it do it?

Or does it just happen on cold starts?

If its just when its cold, then its fine.

89s1, i think you are correct, i think it is slap. i had that with my built y7 that had JE's...esp in the winter.

the oil light stays on for maybe half a second, like, literally... i think it's normal.

it just does the sound on cold starts, and when it's cold out. it does it for a quick maybe 4 taps in succession, really fast and that's it.

if i start it in the morn and the sun has been on the car, it doesn't seem like it does it. it doesn't make a peep at any other time, not while revving, not while driving, not if i stop then start it again....sounds like a sewing machine!
