motor problem? or fuel pump or distrubrator?
okay so here. the problem. when my gas is low, like almost at e, my car make dis where noise, like its running on 3 cylinder or something or the motor misfiring., when you step on teh gas seems like its not gettin enought.. okay.. one day, i drove my car for like under 10 minutes.. everything running good. car feels great alot of power. but once i stop an got out for like one minutes. its started happing. steppin on the gas. an car seems like its misfiring....okay. i was like no biggy. an drove it on the free way..i drove it for a little bit. almost gettin home an it died. ,,, i started it up again, it stay started, but once i step on the gas it die....???????im like wth.. okay.. so here teh gay part.. i tow my car to my dad shop.my dad took a look at it.. not really tho.. but just told me to start the car... he said the gas is all gone.. so i went to get gas.. like he said... gas.. once i got it. it started up like a champ. an rev good......so here another proble.. the next day. i pump the car to full tank.. thinkin i dont have good fuel pressure... but after i drove my car under ten minute... makin that noise again.. like it was dyin on the free way... any help?????? could it b teh distrubrator coil.. cause one time. i retardin it. it shock me.. an my dad told me it was a coil leak.. so i took it apart.. knowin i see a crack.. so i did the easy way of fixing it. usin some short of grease. taht seal up the crack... work like a charm doesnt shock or anything.. i dont know whats teh problem but. does it have a bad block? bent vavle? bad fuel pump? bad coil??? i dont wanna ask my dad til the week end. when hes off.. any help????
ill give it a try today. but if anyone has an idea let me know...

i already did the mpfi swap already. an change the dis... still the same problm. im already replace teh filter on the fuel pump... lost.. mayb its some relay...... or ima just go swap.. lmao.

a new walboro fuel pump is under $90. I doubt that's what it is though. Cutting off on the highway is probably due to the igniter. Mine did that to me a couple times. sometimes when my car is low on fuel, it wont start after I work on it...dunno why, but a gallon of gas always gets it started.good rule of thumb: dont run your tank much below 1/4 tank before you fill up. It saves the life of your pump and doesnt leave you stranded miles from a gas station...or in the ghetto.
