Default GSR crank + rods good for B16?

Ok guys. I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death, but I have tried the search and it keeps omitting keywords. I am curious to know if a GSR crankshaft + rods will be ok in a B16 block + milled head (with GSR cams). The pistons, being ITR or B16 don't make much of a difference compression-wise. I know the deck height on th B16 is 203.25 mm while the B18C is at 212.39. 9 cm to me seems like a pretty big difference. The only reason I am considering doing this is because you can get B16 block at a dime a dozen, because nobody really wants them. But, if the GSR crank + rod interchange is reliable and effective, then why not go for it? Will it work?

After some more research it appears that I would need custom rods (5.05 in.). Guess it isn't even worth it
