If I was running really rich, (wet black shiz coming out with exhaust and stained rear bumper) for about 6 months, could that cause my cat to get plugged up and inhibit exhaust flow? It's a carsound cat mated with a jdm 4-1. I just got dynoed today, ran kind of low #'s and I can't think of any reason why I am not making more power. The tuner suggested this possiblility.
If you have wet and black stuff coming out of your exhaust, why did you continue to drive? I have heard a lot of problems stemming from carsound cats. If a clogged cat is the case, it is choking your car. Diagnose that ASAP.

yeah, I double checked with my mechanic. it is actually just water mixed with soot. I think water is a natural by product of the combustion process. It also means I am running pretty rich, when the consistency of the shiz is like tar.
