Default b18b into a sedan. please help a novice

Alright so im getting an ef sedan for the low low price of free and am hoping to get a 4k$ loan.

my plans are to swap a b series into the car. right now im thinking of a b18b, i deffinately want to get one of hmotorsonline so it has low millage and thats all they have in stock as for b series in my price range.
im making sure to source out my parts before i buy anything at all so guys help me make sure my parts list is corrrect.

Motor
B series mounts
da integra axles from my local parts store
p75 ecu (is this the correct/best one for a b1b?)
0bd0-0bd1 conversion haness ill probably buy from hasport
hasport shift linkage (i know i can modify the original shift linkage but im not ready to want to mess with welding so i think ill just buy a hasport one)

and i sourced out a B18A A1 5spd Cable Transmission, is this a good tranny? i was told i dont want a lsd tranny? is that tranny an lsd?

also i cant find an answer i understand to what the differance between hydrolic and cable transmission are... i assume hydro is better... is a hydro tranny any more difficult to install if i get the inovative mounts cable to hydro conversion?

and is there anything else im missing on my list?

im probably also going to get a new crossmember and eg half rad.

also will a b series fit under an ef hood? i really dont want to waste money on a hood...

Valve seals
Valve cover seals and grommets
Injector seat o-rings

I would say the stuff below is neccesary, I dont think you have to mess with the other gaskets. I have never had a problem. You might want to rethink your b18, I would go with the b20 and get a b16, gsr or even better a type r transmission, the b18a tranny is probably the worst one you could get. get one (b16, gsr or R) with the 4.4 final drive, its much better. If you can afford the lsd go for it. I assume you have the mounts and shift linkage already, also dont forget to buy a 90 integra rear T transmission bracket and the timing cover mount bracket

thermostat
clutch
water pump and tensioner assembly
timing belt
upper and lower rad. hoses
Valve cover gasket
Cam seals
Valve cover seals and grommets

no i dont have anything yet... not even the car its going in...

so your saying i should go with a b20 motor or a b20 transmission?

ill be getting the shift linkage from hasport, and most likely this mount kit from a h-t member

does that have all the mounts i need or do i need a dif. one?

the b18 tranny is only 450$ thats why i wanted that one... how much is a better tranny going to run me? and where can i source one out?

for 450 you should be able to get a gsr or b16 tranny, I would go with hydro since they have more parts available, but then you couldnt use those mounts you would need hydro mounts, aslo you need the T bracket and timing bracket like I said earlier

okay ill try looking for a b16 or gsr tranny.

so i would need this correct?

or should i be getting this?

or do i need both?

with that cable to hydro conversion thing they have is there any other work to put the hydro tranny in other than that conversion peice?

and whats the t bracket and timing bracket? are they not with that kit? if not where do i get them?

dude, you gotta search, the red buttom in the corner man, use it.... and dont just look at recent also look in the archives.

the more reading you do the more you'll save in cash. and just because that guy says he would go b20 doesnt always mean its the best idea.

the red button, push the red botton!

All B series are the same concept... Except of course little things like the b20 intake mani an etc.

As far as mounts and the linkage situation, You would need all the same parts to swap either motor

If you get an older swap that comes with a cable trans, you shouldnt need any of the hydraulic kits... because im pretty sure an ef is a cable car.
