debadging a 97 dx

Default debadging a 97 dx

i would like to remove the civic and the dx from the rear of my 97 civic i was wondering how to go about doing it like fishing line and some goo gone? also the big question i have is do they have prongs that go into the metal that will need to be filled or is it just the h that is like that?? thanks.

the h has the nubs that go through the metal but the dx,and civic is glued on

Yeah, the "H" has two plastic molly's in it, and the pegs go into that. The other ones, just use a blow dryer and some dental floss to get the emblem off.

Then, to take the adhesive foam off, use a plastic razor blade and some carb/brake cleaner and a dry cloth. Don't be freaked, it won't eat your paint. Here's my friend Mike and my girlfriend doing his B6 Audi A4.





After you're done, take care of the lines with some good rubbing compound, hand polish, and a good wax.
