tire size
would 205/50/16 tires be okay for 16x7 wheels? I want to maintain the stock diameter so that i don't throw off my speedo. I used a tire size calc and it came out fine. Just want to make sure.

Yes. If you take a look at http://www.yokohamatire.com/utrimwidth.asp, the table will show that it will fit 5.5 to 7.0 wide 16 wheel.

A 205 wide tire should fit onto a 7" wide rim but I would go with a 215/50/16 tire over the 205. The diameter is just slightly bigger (~.2") than stock so it won't affect anything.
You are also going to want to keep in mind the offset of the rim. That could have an affect on if you are going to rub or not.
