Default B16 Intake Dillema, need help

I'm deciding on wether to get CAI or short ram. I have a '99 civic SIR and i live in the Philippines. As you can imagine, the weather over there is pretty umm.. hot hehe. CAI might be a choice but theres a lot of unexpected rains probably flood? Now, in short ram, i'm thinkin of getting the ***** whale intake or injen with heatshield? I *MIGHT* consider a CAI only the ITR 3" aem.

Any ideas? Umm this is going to be a gift to be so I wont be choosing the EBAY intake this one

btw, ive researched but i just want ur opinion cause of where i live

I have the AEM 3" ITR on my EK Hatch. It does need to be modified a bit to fit, If you go with it I recommend buying a 3" silicone coupler and cutting the intake in half giving you both a cold air and a short ram. If you decide to go with a cold air make sure you have an inner fender, if not the filter tends to get mucked up quite easily.

Not only will an inner fender protect the filter from getting messy, it also serves as the main protection from water.

I had the 3" AEM 'Hybrid' CAI on my car (much like the ITR, except bolts right on), and loved it.

D-rob do you happen to be talking about this?

Do you think this will fit my civic? It's basically like the EM1 but 4door

@Natural Aspirations
All cars have inner fenders right? Sorry if that was a dumb question, didn't know there was such thing as "inner" fender.
