Default Something broken ? Belt // Pulley does not move ...

.. Moves very slow, snail like, after start up of engine. Was on a highway, took an exit, and my steering was hard. Looked under the engine .. PS belt came off, still in 1 piece. Alt and AC belt roatates like a snail, very slow. Rpms hold at idle, but belts won't move. When I Turn the engine off.. I can pull / rotate belt by hand.

What happened ? Auto tensioner belt went ? Need help ..

Those are the parts I don't understand...

The car accelerates slowly? The belts move slow, but the engine doesn't? You can pull the belt by hand meaning...it's very loose?

The auto tensioner is on the timing belt, not the accessory belts.

No, the car drives, engine revs normally. When I stop, with the motor at idle, the AC / Alt belt moves very slowly.

It's moving slower than the engine? It should be squealing like a **** then...all the things you're saying are not making sense.

c'mon man, try to imagine this. The belt moves like 1 mph, when it's really supposed to be moviing like 7 mph. It's almost like the crank pulley is not suppling enough energy / power for the belt to go any faster.

If the crank pulley is spinning slower than it should, you have major problems...otherwise the belt is just slipping.

Hopefully your timing belt is still intact enough not to bend any valves.
